Full-season Optimum Motorsport Intelligent Money British GT duo, Mark Radcliffe and Rob Bell continue into the winter as they expand their racing program to contest in the five-round Asian-based championship. Ollie Millroy – the series’ 2022 GT champion, will complete car #27’s line-up.

Bell and Millroy are no strangers to the championship, with both the British drivers taking part in the four-race, two weekend contest earlier on in the year. The latter also steps in with the series’ 2022 GT title under his belt, winning class honours in Optimum Motorsport-run Inception Racing’s McLaren 720S GT3 – a feat they hope to repeat come next February.

For Radcliffe, although his first venture into the series, he’s proved himself to be one of the most competitive Am drives on the grid, securing multiple podiums and a race win in his debut racing season in GT3 machinery this year. The trio will compete in the highly competitive GT class, a field which is made up of 23 GT3 cars from eight different manufacturers, each competing for not only the championship title, but also the elusive 24 Hours of Le Mans invitation: an honour which is awarded to each of the series’ class winners.

Car #27’s papaya livery is swapped out for a striking damson design – we can’t wait to see the colours gleam under the floodlights of each circuit as each round transitions from day to night racing, and for the car, to quite literally, be purple in all sectors.

The 2023-24 Asian Le Mans Series kickstarts with a double-header at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia on 2-3 December before taking a short hiatus over the Christmas period. The series resumes on the first weekend of February with a sole four-hour race at Dubai Autodrome before heading South to Abu Dhabi for the final two rounds at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Teams will first hit the tarmac on Thursday November 30 for the series’ test day before the official free practice action gets underway the Friday. Be sure to follow the teams’ social channels so as you don’t miss out on any of the action from Asia.
