Having travelled to Sebring last week for the official prologue weekend, the team completed over 134 laps of the 3.74 mile circuit and look for success in the first round of the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship - the 1000 miles of Sebring.

The Team Project 1 and Inception Racing collaboration #56 Porsche 911 RSR will field Ollie Millroy and Brendan Iribe, as well as Ben Barnicoat who completes the driver line-up. The trio joined forces last month across the four races of the Asian Le Mans Series, crossing the line to claim their first Championship title of 2022.

As the series heads into it’s tenth season, racing returns to the United States of America where it all started for the FIA World Endurance Championship back in 2012, where Sebring International Raceway played host to WEC’s inaugural race, the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Inception Racing will also be entering the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring on the same weekend with Brendan, Ollie, and Jordan Pepper. The trio head into the second round sixth in the team standings with 284 points following their fifth place class finish at Daytona International Speedway.

As part of the their IMSA campaign, Jordan is confirmed with the team for the series’ Michelin Endurance Cup events; a unique four-race competition encompassing the marquee endurance races on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship schedule. Frederik Schandorff will be lining up with Brendan to contest in the eight-race WeatherTech Sprint Cup season - which is exclusive to the GTD class.

The first round of the FIA 2022 World Endurance Championship gets underway on Friday 18 March at 16:00 GMT, with the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring commencing at 14:30 on Saturday 19.

Shaun Goff, Team Principal

"This is our first full year in the World Endurance Championship and we're all really excited to get the season started. We had a strong showing of pace across the prologue weekend and the team got a lot of laps under their belts.

"It'll be a very busy few days for all with the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship on Saturday too. We're currently sixth in the team standings after a huge points haul in Daytona. It's our first time in Sebring and it's set to be a great weekend for everyone."
