Inception Racing ready to take on the challenge of Spa 24H

The third round of GT World Challenge Europe takes place this coming weekend (30 - 31 July) and quite the challenge it's set to be for the 60-plus entries taking part in the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa.

Having made their debut in the series’ blue riband event last year, Inception Racing look for a strong showing in this year’s race as they enter the weekend as Gold Cup Class leaders.

A newly revised driver line-up sees Spa 24 Hour debutant and Silver Driver, Sebastian Priaulx, join Brendan Iribe, Ollie Millroy and Frederik Schandorff in the Optimum Motorsport-run McLaren 720S GT3, one of 4 McLaren’s that are set to hit the grid come Saturday (30 July) afternoon.

The first TotalEnergies 24Hours of Spa on-track activity of 2022 kickstarts with the Bronze Test on Tuesday 26 July, followed by a packed Thursday that features Practice, Pre-Qualifying, Qualifying and Night Practice.

Qualifying sets grid positions 21 through to 66, whilst Friday evening’s Super Pole shootout will establish the first 10 rows and decide this year’s pole-sitter.

This year also sees the return of the fan-favourite Drivers Parade, where all of the cars that will contest in the upcoming race drive from Circuit Spa-Francorchamps to Spa town, parking in front of the Spa Casino to give fans an opportunity to experience them first hand.

The 74th running of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa starts at 16:45 on Saturday 30 July and concludes at the same time on Sunday 31. The race will enjoy live coverage via a host of online options, allowing fans to experience the action via free-to-view streams. These will be available through a variety of platforms including the event’s official website and Facebook page and on the GT World Challenge YouTube channel.
