The World Endurance Championship will be back on track this weekend in Belgium for the second round of the series’ 10th season: the 6 hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

37 cars will grace the undulating, newly formatted circuit which has undergone reconstruction in order to improve safety. Asphalt run off areas have been enlarged whilst others have been replaced with gravel traps.

After picking up their first points of the season Brendan Iribe, Ollie Millroy and Ben Barnicoat hit the track determined to protect their third-place spot in the LMGTE AM team’s standings whilst aiming to claim a spot further up the podium after their success in the season opener: the 1000Miles of Sebring.

The Challenge of the 7.04-kilometre circuit of Spa is just one of the key tests facing teams and drivers as they get set for six hours of exciting WEC action. The starting grid will be determined late Friday afternoon, with the Belgian weekend culminating on Saturday evening, with the race starting at 1pm local time.

Live coverage for UK viewers is available on the Eurosport TV channel. Alternatively, all race coverage and build-up can be streamed on the FIA WEC app.

Ollie Millroy

“It was so much fun getting to know the car back in Sebring, the RSR-19 is such an awesome bit of kit and I’m happy we could treat it to a podium in our first race together. I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of the car this weekend as we [the team] head to Spa for the next round of the FIA World Endurance Championship!”
