Meanwhile, Nick Moss and Joe Osborne return to the wheel of their #72 McLaren for GT Open this weekend in Monza, Italy. Following their 16-point haul in Austria in the series’ previous round, the Optimum Motorsport duo now sit third in the championship standings, just 5 points shy of current leaders, Van Berlo and Gilardoni. Claiming two fourth-place finishes at Red Bull Ring (10-11 September) Nick and Joe drop any success penalties during the pitstops for the weekend ahead.

Last year’s Monza GT Open weekend proved victorious for the British duo, with Nick and Joe storming through the field on the penultimate lap of the 70-minute race to take a superb class victory. Sunday had brought the predicted heavy rain, but with the first 10 minutes of the morning’s qualifying session remaining dry, Joe was able to claim overall pole by 0.005s.

Can they repeat the same feat this weekend?
