Optimum Motorsport all set for the International GT Open Championship

Having secured a superb podium on their debut in the British GT Championship as a pairing at Oulton Park last weekend, Ollie Wilkinson and Bradley Ellis are looking forward to the start of the International GT Open Championship which gets underway this coming weekend at Paul Ricard.

The event marks the start of the second full season of competition in the series and sees the switch to the glorious new Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

“We have got the season off to a really good start in the British GT Championship and we have serious aspirations for a title challenge this year in the Pro-Am class in GT Open,” said Team Principal Shaun Goff. “We are increasingly seeing better performance from Ollie which is the aim. It is just his third year of racing and he continues to go from strength to strength.”

Qualifying takes place on Saturday morning with the afternoon race at 15.30 local time and then the second race Sunday at 15.00.
