As if heading into the final weekend of this year’s International GT Open season in title-fighting form wasn’t enough, Shaun Goff’s outfit enters second McLaren 720S GT3, making its race debut in Montmeló at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

McLaren Development Driver, Michael Benyahia will field Optimum Motorsport’s #4 McLaren 720S  GT3 in the Pro category alongside the team’s Pro duo of Nick and Joe.

For Nick and Joe it’ll be a drivers’ championship title fight that’ll go down to the wire. Throughout this season it’s been a title tilt between the British duo and the Lamborghini duo of Pulcini-Hites, whom currently lead by four points.

However, having had a strong show of redemption in Monza three weeks ago, with a DNF on Saturday’s race and an overall win on Sunday, the team head into the weekend with just the one success penalty for their pitstop procedure, putting them level with the Italian Oregon Team squad who also enter with a success penalty for their mandatory pitstop and driver change.
